Last night I got the opportunity to venture into the depths of South London, Deptford, Lewisham to a FREE Live Event at the Birds Nest Bar. Below is the trailer for the evening which had a great turn out of various DJ's, Producers and local talent who participated in an Open Mic Cypher before the RU1 FAM performed.
RU1 FAM* (@RU1FAM) which in their own words are 'a conscious organisation promoting Love,Peace & Unity through the Creative Arts' managed to deliver exactly that through their lyrical ability and positive vibes. I managed to catch a glimpse of a few well known names including Logic of Peoples Army who also blessed the mic to instill some wisdom and love and zoned out to some authentic UK Hip-Hop.
Unfortunately my footage wasn't clear enough (It was quite dark!), fortunately I managed to extract the audio which is available below to listen to and download!
